This was our 3rd stay
House was very clean.
-Pillows need cleaning/should have pillow protectors that are washed with some regularity
-needs some outside maintenance back step rotting
-ants inside mentioned to manager. Under tub has missing caulking. That seemed to be one point of entry
-kitchen well appointed. Could use some small light weight snack /prep bowls

There were five of us and we really enjoyed the house. The location is great amenities are nice and we got quick responses when we had minor things come up.

We loved Sandhill House! A wonderful gathering place for my family vacation in an amazing well appointed house. The location was great -we did the dunes, Glen Arbor, Empire Bluffs hike and beach, Beulah/Frankfort bike trail not to mention lots of time kayaking and fishing on Long Lake.
We really appreciated the bonfire area and Adirondack chairs for our evening gatherings too and early morning time.

We cooked our own meals most nights. The kitchen was so well equipped, beginning with the coffee bar to dishes, pots and pans and outdoor grill area. Perfect and easy all around. Definitely a big, big plus!

We can't sign off without complimenting the owners or decorator on the art work, bed linens, pillows etc. throughout the house. It was all tastefully and beautifully done. Thank you!

This summer marked over 50 years of our family staying at Birch Shores Resort. Little Glen is a beautiful lake and the cottage, while rustic, is comfortable and very close to the lake. We practically live on the recently added deck. The surrounding area is a blend of breathtakingly beautiful nature and amazing galleries, adorable shops, and fun restaurants.

It was a great time and a great location

We spent the 4th of July weekend at the Loon and it was an amazing experience. The camper is big enough to accommodate four adults. The indoor and outdoor kitchen allowed us to cook from scratch for multiple meals. The kitchen comes with pretty much any tool that you can think of.

We spent a whole day at the lake kayaking and boating. Gus was very helpful and patient in teaching us how to use the boat motor. There were a pair of loons and a swan couple living in the lake with baby swans. The location is great and close enough to Frankfort so we visited the town and spent some time by the beach. Kelly, the host, was super courteous and responded to a call from us very timely, even though it was already pretty late at night.

Wonderful experience. Clean, quiet, beautiful view and calm quiet Cub lake. Highly recommend. My family's 2 time at this BNB and we look forward to renting it again.

Beautiful house on the main road going into Frankfort, it has a nice fenced back yard, big bedrooms, a kitchen with everything you need and nice living spaces. We have been staying in this owner's homes for over a decade with no complaints, they are always kind and responsive if anything comes up. I would highly recommend to anyone!

What a great place to stay! I was fortunate to be the second client renting this property and I couldn't have been happier. Very clean, private and cozy. Nice base to use for local short trips or a day-long adventure to Sleeping Bear Dunes and the surrounding towns. This is a can't go wrong rental and I hope to return soon!

Loved the house and the remodeling is beautiful. We appreciated the proximity to the downtown area and the beach. Having beach towels available was very nice! Only improvement would be having toiletries like shampoo available. We also noticed a lot of ants on the floor everywhere but especially the living room, and weren’t able to lock the back door.

We loved our stay here (5 adults) and would book again. The location was perfect with a beautiful lake view and made a great base for exploring Elk Rapids, Traverse City and Torch Lake. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. The property manager was friendly and responsive when we had questions.

We enjoyed our time in the cabin. We felt it was clean and appropriated the fridge and microwave.

The Green Laker was the perfect place for our vacation. It had everything we needed, was extremely clean and was lovely decorated. Fishing was very good and hearing and viewing the wildlife was exciting. We hope to return to this cottage in the future.

Positives: view worth a million bucks, super equipped kitchen, great appliances and a great area of MI. Also appreciated use of kayaks. Negatives: Carpenter ants in bathroom ceiling, leaving sawdust in shower. Also hot water had not been turned on but we were able to do that. Suggest property manager be more thorough. All in all, a good week.

The house was perfect for our family. Spacious bedrooms and well-equipped house. Very spacious, clean and the accessibility to the lake was great. It was nice and quiet all day, every day. We enjoyed the back patio and took advantage of it every afternoon/evening. Easy access to surrounding towns.

There are not enough words for how amazing the view is. We did our annual family vacation here & it did not disappoint in the least. The house was full of extra things for the kids to do (we had 3 under 6), very clean, plenty of additional amenities. The overlook of the bluff is amazing for your morning coffee & throughout the day! Everyone that was involved in renting was great & had quick responses. We will most definitely be returning to stay again!

Always a great stay at the Red Laker. We had a great week and a great stay. We'll be back.
