Great place to getaway over July 4th

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at The Koal-Mine-Inn and were able to enjoy local activities in downtown Frankfort, biking to Crystal Lake and a short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes. It was nice to be able to bring the family pups along and the place was quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful house on the main road going into Frankfort, it has a nice fenced back yard, big bedrooms, a kitchen with everything you need and nice living spaces. We have been staying in this owner’s homes for over a decade with no complaints, they are always kind and responsive if anything comes up. I would highly recommend to anyone!

My family and I had a great time staying at this cabin. Brown Bear is just a 2 minute walk through the woods to get to the lake, though it was helpful that my buddies staying in the Red and Green Laker that were right on Lake Little Platte. only issue was that quite a few ants appeared on day 3-4, Kelly had said the cabins had been treated before, and left perimeter spray and traps for me to use. Other than that the cabins were comfortable, and had everything we needed, like kitchen equipment. Even had a blender! Will likely book here again.

Beautiful home, wonderful kitchen with a huge Island and great family gathering spaces. Outdoor BBQ Grill, and pit were enjoyed, even though the weather was cool. We did an Easter Egg Hunt in the spacious yard. So many things were stocked, and every utensil you could want was there. Ice maker, 2 wine fridges, cooling drawers for pop, water, beer and canned beverages. There was ample refrigerator space. It was all that was advertised and more.

Comfy, cozy cottage on a pretty lake with beautiful sunrises and night sky. The area has plenty of bike trails, hiking, a National Lakeshore and towns nearby with good food. We are planning to rent again. Thanks for a wonderful time!

We have stayed here for over 20 years and love the size and location. It’s always clean. The blinds/curtains need to be fixed or replaced. We also heard some critters in the attic during our stay. There is no light on the front of the house to see the address. We love staying here and we’ll see you next year! Thanks! 🙂
