House is fantastic. Loved our stay and the deer did visit in the AM & PM. Really can’t think of any improvements. Loved it and our stay.
Best Serene Cabin
Natraj Ponna
The Green Laker is one of the best cabins here at the property with direct view of the lake and very short walk to the dock to catch sunrise/ sunset. The cabin is cute and has everything you need, a big refrigerator and enough pots and pans. No washer drier so take ample clothes if you are staying longer, there was a laundromat at Beulah, you could use it if you have no backup clothes. The water may have tannins, so be prepared for it, have your own drinking water just in case. On the overall, this is a fantastic cabin away from the Deadstream road and has no traffic noise which makes you hear all the birds. It is a bit cooler by the lake also which will be ideal for summer. My visit was during memorial day week, the weather was still a bit chilly and the heater in the cabin worked really great. I forgot a few things and the property has contacted me and said they would mail me the items, so the service is top notch, only a phone call away and it was always answered
A True “Home Away from Home” Near Sleeping Bear Dunes
Mark Underwood
Our stay at ‘Emanuel’ was an absolute dream and a perfect retreat from our everyday lives. From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Char and Duck, made us feel like part of their extended family. Their warmth, helpfulness, and accommodating nature were truly exceptional.
The apartment itself is a lovely, comfortable, and cozy haven. We were so impressed by the thoughtful touches, from the charming decorations to the nice candies that welcomed us. It was the perfect base for our adventures.
The location is ideal for anyone looking to explore the breathtaking beauty of the region. We had the freedom to bike and were just a short distance from Empire, the fabulous M-22 scenic byway, and the magnificent trails, beaches, and dunes of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park.
A special and heartfelt thank you goes to their daughter, Gayle. She was incredibly gracious and giving with her time, watching over our two Australian Shepherds, Oakley and Rocky, who can be a handful! She walked them on the beautiful, nearly 5-acre property, which gave us such peace of mind to explore.
We are so grateful to Char, Duck, and Gayle for sharing their incredible home and property with us. It was more than just a place to stay; it was a home away from home where we felt genuinely cared for. We cannot recommend this wonderful retreat highly enough!
Amazing Summer Vacation for us & our dog!
John Klingler
We stayed here for 3 nights in late July and it was amazing. We will certainly be back again. We loved how cozy the house was and feeling like we were truly staying at a family’s lake house, instead of a cookie-cutter rental house. The house was stocked with everything we needed to cook in every night to enjoy the stunning views from the porch. It was also very carefully thought out to accommodate our Labrador retriever; the outdoor hose to clean her off, the vacuum for in the house, and porch with the gates were super convenient.
The beach access was great and the sunsets were beautiful. Never got tired of sitting on the porch in the evening.
Delightful Cabin
Susie Kunkle
This cabin is cosy and cute, with very comfortable beds and everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit and the lovely view of the lake.
Excellent House
Balta Garza
The house was perfect for our family. Spacious bedrooms and well-equipped house. Very spacious, clean and the accessibility to the lake was great. It was nice and quiet all day, every day. We enjoyed the back patio and took advantage of it every afternoon/evening. Easy access to surrounding towns.
Great location

This is my second time staying here and it’s a great location for downtown Beulah and crystal lake.
Wonderful!
Carol Maleport
We booked this place for a 30th birthday/girls weekend and it was great! So much space to fit our group! We filled every bedroom and still had more then enough space. It was very clean and had plenty of mirrors for all the girls to get ready. I find airbnbs often don’t have a lot of mirrors and with a big group of girls that was very nice! We will be back for sure! We had so much fun we even talked about doing it once a year.
Another stay at Lil’s
Michael Barrie
Great location in Beulah. Great view, sunsets, water, etc. The yard is large and fenced.
The house itself is old and threadbare. Some of the kitchen cabinets and drawers don’t open due to settling of the foundation. The stairs to the two bedrooms up stairs are steep. In spite of its age, the house is serviceable. The single bathroom is a little limiting if there are many folks staying there.
The grill needs replacement.
This is our fourth stay at Lil’s.
