Unit worked fine for us. Clean and nicely updated but a dishwasher would be a nice addition.

We love coming every year to the Brown Bear! It is always comfortable and relaxing for us. I will say that it was much warmer this year. we brought two fans just in case and even with all the fans and ceiling fans on it was still warm . The only thing I would like to draw your attention to is that the largest fan, behind the front door, did not work when plugged in. Also, the recycling was full both times we tried to empty our bin, sorry for leaving it full.

The cabin was as pictured. The overhead fans helped with not having air conditioning. The property manager was in getting back to you and was very helpful. Good location. Overall a nice stay and would return.

​Our stay at 'Emanuel' was an absolute dream and a perfect retreat from our everyday lives. From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Char and Duck, made us feel like part of their extended family. Their warmth, helpfulness, and accommodating nature were truly exceptional.
​The apartment itself is a lovely, comfortable, and cozy haven. We were so impressed by the thoughtful touches, from the charming decorations to the nice candies that welcomed us. It was the perfect base for our adventures.
​The location is ideal for anyone looking to explore the breathtaking beauty of the region. We had the freedom to bike and were just a short distance from Empire, the fabulous M-22 scenic byway, and the magnificent trails, beaches, and dunes of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park.
​A special and heartfelt thank you goes to their daughter, Gayle. She was incredibly gracious and giving with her time, watching over our two Australian Shepherds, Oakley and Rocky, who can be a handful! She walked them on the beautiful, nearly 5-acre property, which gave us such peace of mind to explore.
​We are so grateful to Char, Duck, and Gayle for sharing their incredible home and property with us. It was more than just a place to stay; it was a home away from home where we felt genuinely cared for. We cannot recommend this wonderful retreat highly enough!

We loved our stay. Cabins were very nice, clean and well stocked with any needs. We have put this on our agenda to try and do a family vacation again next year and go back. We had a wonderful time. THANK YOU!

Brought my grandson up for a couple of days for connection and getting away from busy south-east Michigan. This was the right place. Beautiful, tranquil, and EVERYONE was SO kind and friendly. Thanks.

The cabin was perfect for the two of us, boat parking was great, everything needed for our stay. Would stay again.

It's a very cute cottage with a spectacular location. It's decorated very nicely and has everything you need. It was super clean - kudos to your cleaning staff. Would recommend upgrading the mattresses and pillows and strongly encourage you to use a regular patio table and chairs on the screen porch - it's uncomfortable to have a leisurely dinner on the lovely screen porch while sitting on a bench with no back.

We really enjoyed The Lilly Pad for our week of vacation. The location one block from Crystal Lake is very nice. The remodeling of the house is very nice — really well done. Nice shower off the main bedroom. Very nice to have a washer/dryer available. We were tentative to rent this across from the gas station, but it was no problem at all. It was nice to sit on the front porch with the nice screen windows keeping the bugs out. The only slight “criticism” we had, which is really just a preference, it would have been nice to have a king bed in the main bedroom. Loved our stay at this rental!

Everything was good. Well equipped and spacious. Housed the ten of us and 2 dogs comfortably. The location IS great, as they say. We've enjoyed Frankfort/area from this location for a number of years. The Bayside Cottage is very nice also.

We thouroghly enjoyed our stay here. It was an amazing location and a great house for our family. The inside was clean and tidy with plenty of towels and linens. The yard was big, with a great fire pit. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic lake getaway! Beautiful spot on Crystal Lake. Everything you could want with great views of the lake, dock access, quick access into town. Clean. Great management team. Hope to be back soon.!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sand & Snow. The house has a great location, very walkable to Frankfort. In our excitement of arriving in northern Michigan, we kept our windows open at night to let the fresh air in -- but the house is located on a busy street, and it was noisy. But with windows closed, it was nice and calm.

The house had everything we needed - well stocked kitchen, great drop zone in the entry way, good beds, nice and clean. We didn't find the broom and vacuum cleaner until midway through our trip, though we wish we had found them sooner.

Desurai was very responsive when the door code we had been texted didn't work and fixed the problem right away. I'm not sure if the checkout instructions in the binder that's in the living room completely match the text instructions (if I recall, it was what we should do with sheets?).

Overall, we had a great trip. Thank you for letting us stay!

Beautiful house, beautiful view, lovely stay

We had an excellent time and the house was amazing! Everything you can imagine was in the kitchen... unbelievable!! The house was extremely well maintained and our entire family thoroughly enjoyed themselves for the week Thank you!
