THE SPACE:

The home is beautifully decorated with a modern lake and beach theme throughout the house. The home is just feet from Crystal Lake and there are spectacular views of Crystal Lake from 3 out of the 4 bedrooms, the dining room, the living room, and the game room. The home has mini-split air conditioners throughout the home to keep the house cool in the summer. It also has an advanced heating system for the winter months.

The family room on the top floor provides for wonderful family times together along with incredible sunset views on Crystal Lake! The game room on the lower level also includes a championship deluxe pool table. (We do ask that young children not utilize the pool table and that teenagers only utilize the pool table with extreme caution and close adult supervision.)

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1) THREE LEVELS: The home has three separate levels with stairs between each level. The main living room is also on the top level, which is great for views of Crystal Lake, but the layout of the home may not be well-suited for elderly individuals or families with young children.

2) POOL TABLE: The home has a deluxe championship pool table in the game room, which is great for pool afficionados. As it is a very high-end pool table, we ask that young children not use the pool table at all and that teenagers only use the pool table with extreme caution and close adult supervision. Guests will be charged for any damage to the pool table, which could be very costly given the high-end nature of the pool table.

3) PET POLICY: All pets are strictly prohibited at this property!

4) AIR CONDITIONING: There are several mini-split individual air conditioners throughout the home to keep the home cool in the summer. The home does not have central air conditioning though.

5) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.

6) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.

7) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.

8) PROPERTY NAME: The property is named after the bald eagles that roost nearby in the trees on the north shore of Crystal Lake.

9) PARKING: There is parking space available for up to 4 vehicles.

10) FIREPLACE: Please note that the fireplace in the living room is NOT available for guest usage.

11) BEDROOM #2: Please note that the smaller bedroom on the first floor sleeps up to 4 people, but the bedroom is quite small and it can only sleep 4 people by having the trundle bed pulled out from under the bunk bed, which leaves very little floor space. It is workable for 4 children, but it would be very tight for 4 adults.

12) BOATS: Please note that the private dock is not to be used for tethering a boat. Guests are welcome to bring or rent a boat, but the boat would need to be moored in the water using the guest's own mooring mechanism. Please also note that there is no space at the property for a boat trailer.

13) CAMERAS: Please note that there are exterior cameras at the property, both in front of the house and in back of the house. There are no interior cameras though.

13) PHOTOS: At present, most of the photos that are shown were taken during the winter simply because of the recent construction of the home. We do plan on updating photos in 2026 to include more summer photos.

NEIGHBORHOOD:

The home is on the spectacular north shore of Crystal Lake, which features a woodsy and nature-oriented environment with luxurious high-end homes. The neighborhood is primarily made up of vacation homes of professional families. Crystal Lake, with its famous crystal clear turquoise waters, is ideal for boating, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, and nature viewing. There are several bald eagles that roost nearby in the trees on the north shore of Crystal Lake.

Beulah Beach is at the east end of Crystal Lake and provides a very child-friendly environment. Crystal Lake Adventure Sports in downtown Beulah offers kayak and paddleboard rentals if you need a kayak or paddleboard. It's also now even now possible to learn to scuba dive in Crystal Lake through Beulah Outdoors in downtown Beulah!

There are a number of other great attractions in the area! The start of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is just minutes away from the home. Old Indian Trail, only 5.3 miles from the home, is a popular hiking trail in the park and runs through forests next to Lake Michigan and includes public access to Lake Michigan itself. Sleeping Bear Dunes also features a vast array of additional hiking trails, biking trails, incredible views, dune climbing, and tubing, kayaking, or canoeing down the Platte River through the park and out to Lake Michigan.

The home is also close to the cute little beach towns of Beulah (at the east end of Crystal Lake), Frankfort (on Lake Michigan to the west), and Empire (on Lake Michigan to the northwest), which feature cafes, restaurants, tourist shops, microbreweries, lots of ice cream shops, and beaches that are very family-friendly. There is also a vintage movie theater (The Garden Theater) in downtown Frankfort.

Eagles Landing is also only about a 1-hour drive east to Traverse City. Traverse City is the business, arts, recreation, entertainment, dining, and shopping hub of all of Northern Michigan.

GUEST ACCESS:

Guests have access to the entire property except for the mechanical room in the lower level.

TRANSIT:

There is public bus service in the area via The Benzie Bus, but it is recommended that guests have their own means of transportation. (Note that there is space for up to 3 vehicles at the property.)
