THE SPACE:

The home is decorated in a lovely northern Michigan style with lots of Crystal Mountain decor. It is truly gorgeous both inside and out!

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1) AIR-CONDITIONING: The home does have a portable A/C unit for the second floor in the summer. Note that the home does not have central air-conditioning though.

2) LAUNDRY ROOM: Note that the entrance to the laundry room is from within the primary bedroom on the first floor.

3) FIREWOOD: We do not provide firewood, but firewood is available for purchase at most gas stations and grocery stores in the area.

4) CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN ACTIVITIES: All activities at Crystal Mountain must be purchased separately. They are not included with the rental.

5) PET POLICY: All pets are strictly prohibited!

6) SKI STORAGE: Please do not bring skis/snowboards/other snow sport equipment into the house. There is a storage closet on the porch for those.

7) INDOOR FIREPLACE: The indoor wood fireplace is NOT available for guest usage. (The outdoor bonfire ring is available for guest usage.)

8) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.

9) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.

10) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.

NEIGHBORHOOD:

The home is located right at Crystal Mountain. It is part of a neighborhood of luxury vacation homes at Crystal Mountain. It is just a short 5 to 10 minute walk to all venues at Crystal Mountain. There is shuttle service available if you do not wish to walk.

The home is also in a great location for exploring northern Michigan! The home is close to a number of great northern Michigan destinations including:

* Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore
* Lake Michigan
* Crystal Lake
* the charming beach towns of Manistee, Onekama, Arcadia, Frankfort, Beulah, and Glen Arbor
* Traverse City
* Interlochen (including Interlochen Arts Academy)
* Arcadia Marsh Nature Preserve
* Arcadia Bluffs Golf Course

GUEST ACCESS:

Guests have access to the entire house, including a storage area for skis, snowboards, and equipment. The only area that is not accessible is an owners' closet that is used for personal storage.

TRANSIT:

There is free shuttle service available to Crystal Mountain. Public transportation in the area is limited though, so we do recommend that guests have their own vehicle. (Benzie Bus is available for limited public transportation.)
