THE SPACE:

Enjoy blow-up toys for swimming and chairs for sunning. A smoker and Weber BBQ available for guest use. Inside there is a sunroom for gazing at inspiring western sunsets while playing board games. Oars for the canoe and kayak are in the corner with a few fishing supplies. Historic vaulted log ceilings have been preserved in the great room and kitchen. Cabin has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and central heat for those chilly fall/winter days and window A/C for the few hot summer days.

There is room for guests to store their boat trailers on the property.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1) PET POLICY: All pets are strictly prohibited.

2) AIR CONDITIONING: The cabin has a window A/C unit, but it does not have central air conditioning.

3) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.

4) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.

5) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.

6) FIREWOOD: Guests are welcome to use the bonfire ring, but firewood is not provided. Firewood can be purchased at many gas stations and grocery stores in the area.

7) INDOOR FIREPLACE: Please note that the indoor fireplace is NOT available for guest usage.

8) SMOKING: Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the cabin.

9) BOATS AND BOAT TRAILERS: There is room at the property for boat trailers. There is also a private boat launch for the community that is available for guests to use. It is approximately 100 feet from the cabin.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

There is a private lakeside subdivision boat launch available for guests approx. 100 feet away from the property.

Great location for exploring the AuSable River, the River Road and Huron National Forest Wilderness areas; Lumberman’s Monument, Iargo Springs, the U.S. Air Force Museum at the old Wurtsmith Air Force Base, and historic Oscoda, home of lumberjack Paul Bunyan.

GUEST ACCESS:

Guests have access to the entire property except for the storage shed, which is locked off for owner storage.

TRANSIT:

It is highly recommended that guests have their own vehicle for transportation.
